A big thing about Dallas conservatives is that they fucking suck but in a totally different way than you'd expect most of the time. They aren't cultish like Trump obsessed conservatives and do hate most things about him but they're more like "but the economy" and still vote for him despite hating those things because it benefits them

 

I have an entire group of family members that if you told me they were there I'd believe you 100% with no doubts.

Fun thing about Texas conservatives, I went to vote with my friend, who is Latina and the white guy behind us asked her if she brought her citizenship papers. And that's the kind of kind hearted interactions we love to see at a voting location.

All of the people in my life who were big time republicans (mostly my mom and stepdad) have been anti Trump since the moment he decided to run and have only grown to dislike him more. BUT, instead of voting against him, I'm fairly certain they've just not voted in those elections. Then, the people who never seemed to give a shit about politics have become huuuuge MAGA supporters that get all of their information from YouTube and ignore outside opinions.
