I'm on a meeting where my CEO is looking for data to prove that cutting our Ad Spend by 50% is negatively impacting the business. And he's arguing with every data point we try to show where I'm just sitting here like "if you see a house that's charred and mostly ash, and you see emptied out gas cans, and a matchbook that's missing matches, do you really need the Fire Marshall's report?"

 

Insurance adjustors are useless. Two days in a row we have agreed upon a time for this lady to call me and two days in a row she has not done that. Lady only has three hours of availability but then can't do her job when we agree upon a time.

It drives me absolutely insane the way this company views data as if there's one magic chart they just can't find that'll give them all the answers so they spent days and weeks and months just looking at spreadsheets instead of ever doing anything.

The simplest answer is more often than not the correct one and they run like hell away from it.
