Saw them with senses fail & autopilot off then my band later got to open up for them and veara back in ‘09 or ‘10 can’t remember the year

 

Re-recording of the Mercy Street LP from almost 10 years ago!

Someone posted an interview in the comments of his Facebook post, and apparently they attempted a Rufio reunion last year but it took them months to get a single song done so the whole thing got scrapped... Ugh. haha.

Always been partial to The Comfort of Home and its production, but I have a lot of fond memories of that album too.

I wouldn't put it past Scott to re-record all of 1985 at some point. He's a madman. He re-recorded the entire Mercy Street album because the original had a near-unnoticeable delay in the vocals.

 

I would love that to be honest. The production has always been the worst part.

I really enjoyed that "cover" he did of "Tears" for Perhaps (which I'm pretty sure he did as sort of a joke).

this is also true of Perhaps I Suppose. The production makes it sound like it was recorded in a trash can

 

First two albums are two unbelievable pop punk albums marred by bad production. I’d love a re-record of 1985 especially. Perhaps I suppose is passable as it’s a first album which I usually expect is going to have some rough edges

I’m a littttttle drunk, but I saw this thread and I love this band more than anything.

 

It was never mastered until the re-release!

 

I wish they would release the b-sides to 1985, but Scott said that they were too embarrassing and refused to do it like he did for The Comfort of Home. ha.

 

The riffs are so good in that era though
