I mean, not really? At least not the people I know who are not voting for either Harris or Trump because of their shared blind support for Israel. As I’ve said here before, 1) I’m not voting for or strategically thinking about Jill Stein, and if you lose because of her that is the fault of Harris and her campaign, and 2) as I’ve also said before, I’m not trying to shame anyone out of voting for Harris. A lot of the people I agree with most frequently in here have stated that they’re voting for her despite thinking she is a terrible person and a terrible candidate, they just are also equally critical of her as they would be of Trump due to moral consistency. Hell, I have a lot of friends in reliably blue Illinois who hate her guts yet will still vote for her out of a sense of harm reduction. I think this person’s lazy characterization of “single-issue voters” is not indicative of how most people choosing to not vote for either Trump or Kamala talk about this stuff.

There are people in here who back Jill Stein because "of her stance on Gaza" when I think they'd be smarter than that to realize she's just saying whatever she wants knowing 1. She can't fulfill and 2. She's actively taking away from Kamala. Imo she doesn't give a shit about Gaza either and is just saying whatever to fool people to take from Kamala. She's a damn Putin stooge lol, doesn't matter if she took back her words. All because she apologized doesn't mean anything, just like other politicians if enough a fuss is made of something they say then they'll say OOPS to save face. We see it all the time on both sides of the aisle, she's just following suit. But Indi wholeheartedly agree that it's the Democrats fault for letting her get away with this. There has to be murmurings inside the party of how bad it's looking regarding this situation and the fact they're losing MI due to this and they can't afford to. The Ahmed Ghanim news last night made my jaw drop and I got an feeling of SHIT not this again.

I saw someone elsewhere state that there's a 100k Muslim base in MI that were uncommitted last time, however there were 300k Nikki Haley voters during the primaries. I can only assume someone did the math and decided to appeal to the larger base. It's ugly and unfortunate but we'll see if it pays off.

Are there people in here who say they’re backing Jill Stein? I haven’t seen that, nor have I seen people urging others to vote for her. Maybe a random poster came in and said something and I missed it. If people are going to vote third party, I’d urge them to vote for the PSL ticket.

As for Haley, she endorsed Trump so i imagine that’s where the majority of the people who voted for her will go. But also, the Harris strategy sets up an easy out for them: if they win, it’s not because Trump is a weak candidate that people are sick of and who any competent candidate should be able to beat, but rather because her campaign brilliantly pivoted to the right which means we need to keep doing that; if she loses, it’s the fault of all those damn Muslims and leftist bros a who supported Stein, so we better keep pivoting right. It’s dumb and unnecessary and so easy to see happening from a mile away.

 

As always, vote for who you want, what else are we going to do though? Whether Harris or Trump wins, if they continue the genocide Biden helped start, what are we going to do about it?
