Love that Purdy is finally getting exposed now that they don’t have all of their guys lol

 

Are people here anti-Purdy now (maybe always)?

 

I just never thought he was anything special, he’s a product of scheme and the players around him.

 

I am not anti purdy

 

I think a handful of people, myself included, have wondered “is he really really good, or is he fine to pretty good elevated by the greatest supporting cast and coaching situation a qb can ask for” so ya know, we’re gonna find out it seems. I def wouldn’t describe myself as ANTI Purdy like I would say I’m Anti Jaguars or anything.

 

Most qbs would struggle being down their top three receivers and top RB

 

I AM anti-Purdy TV commercial that doesn’t tell you anything about what it is advertising however.

Sure, but the flip side of that is true where you can say most QBs would thrive being surrounded by CMAC, Deebo, Aiyuk, Trent Williams and young shanny. Hence the skepticism.

Yeah but what does it matter. No one should ask him or any other qb to carry the team. You build a scheme and place talented players around the qb. Only a few have ever dragged their teams to victory despite the talent around them.

It doesn’t matter, but it’s interesting when he’s next in line for a mega extension where you’re asking these guys to be able to elevate those around them.
