Can’t wait for the most generic boring movie

 

I remain a JJ apologist (minus Rise of Skywalker) and I'm not totally allergic to The Rock, but "from the [twisted] mind of Zak Penn" does not have me excited.

That Rock tweet with JJ reads like it came from a wine mom who just came back from her class reunion.

 

Hahahaha! Regardless I hope it's an original film instead of pre existing IP though, Super 8 was the last original film JJ directed

 

lol…it’s gotten its due now but I remember back when around it first came out, Forgetting Sarah Marshall was super underrated out of that whole slew of “Frat Pack” comedies and a lot of my friends at the time who were into Wedding Crashers and Superbad and 40 Year old Virgin and etc hadn’t seen FSM and eventually I talked a lot of them into seeing it or watching it when it came out on dvd and it became an instant quoatable in my friends groups lol

 

It’s one of my favorite and most watched movies.

Definitely one of the most watchable Apatow productions

Hmm, I don't know how I'd rate all the Apatow movies but I know that FSM would be near the top and This is 40 would be near the bottom

A lot of them are good, but there's probably a ton that came out that I've never seen tbh

 

Wedding Crashers isnt an Apatow joint but for me it’s a toss up between that and Superbad, with FSM a very close 3rd

 

Him and Yorgos have to be competing or something.

 

Knocked Up, Superbad, and FSM in a three year span is unreal

 

Rewatched that earlier this year actually. It holds up really well, Jason is brilliant haha
