I used to love them but ever since that 'late nights in the middle of june' song, everything they've done (that I've heard) has attempted to be that song again and it's just gotten boring and lame. Creatures in Heaven is basically just that song all over again.... I do love a good live spectacle though but they have fallen so hard since Zaba / How to be a human being.

It also irks me that they won a grammy for best new band on like album 3 and 8 years in existence.

    /endrate.

Take arms, it'll all blow over Prestigious

Saw Knocked Loose for the third time this year, fun show, though I wish they'd play a song off Pop Culture at least once, it would have been nice if they played 10-15 more minutes too but I imagine that could have been a curfew thing

Feels weaker than last years lineup. Feel like most of the budget went into booking Metallica, which is a common thought I have for most festivals that book Metallica.

What a hilarious lineup. Mudvaynes booking agent fucked up though, they’re significantly bigger than a lot of bands they’re under.

I tend to agree; I just hope some decent North American tours come out of this. Mainly hoping Meshuggah does some East Coast dates.

exactly the first thing that jumped out to me - went from ampitheater co-headliner with rob zombie to below terror, X, and poison the well?

I feel Machine Head is bigger than a lot of the bands in there as well. I dont listen to them but they are headlining several metal festivals in Europe

They’re a band that is massive in Europe but not nearly as big over here.

I also thought they were billed too low…

I feel 311, Flaming Lips and The Hives are a little out of place in there.

Overall it has some good bands but it doesnt blew me away like the 2 previous years

Twice I had tickets to see Scars On Broadway and twice the show has been cancelled (although one time it was due to a hurricane). Nevertheless, SOB has NEVER played NYC or the area and I hope they fix that in 2025.

311 totally fits, The Hives sort of fit and The Flaming Lips definitely do NOT fit

I feel like The Flaming Lips would’ve fit a bit better on last year’s lineup

Gojira / Cannibal Corpse would be a fun potential lineup from SNW. But I mean I definitely don't have the desire to travel for this one and will just wait for tours to come from it.

Hearing from a reliable source System of a Down has a few stadium dates planned for next year. The San Francisco show did 50k, so I could see them doing stadiums.

Hell yeah! Let's get them on the East Coast. To my post above, have Daron do double-duty and let's get Scary On Broadway opening.

I don't think they've been since Sonic Temple in 2019? For sure it's gotta be at least one LA show
