It has to be Jeanty, most dominant college player in a decade

 

He's out pacing Barry Sanders and he isn't even playing every game in full lol it's insane

 

I suspect relative strength of competition will (unfairly and incorrectly) work against him. It’ll probably end up being Cam Ward or Dillon Gabriel knowing how these things tend to go.

 

The only other player that should even be talked about for the Heisman is Army’s QB

Total DUH but it’s Jeanty’s unless he falls off a cliff and/or “only” gets to like 100 yards a game the rest of the year. If someone else gets hot towards the end then that could get them some votes because no one remembers what happened last week and/or someone with a vote who dislikes the Mountain West / is a Homer for someone else could also at least get a few votes off of Jeanty

Damn he tore his ACL. I think it's possible he already had some damage to it and it just hadn't given way yet, because the way it happened is not a normal mechanism of injury.

 

Facts

 

Just found out we had a guy tear his ACL, too. Brand new turf/first game on it since they replaced it since our last home game due to a Morgan Wallen concert. Wonder if that has any influence on it.

 

Is it natural grass or artificial? If artificial yeah I could see that, normal grass I wouldn't think so

 

I think it’s natural. Oddly enough, UT has one of the preeminent natural grass turf departments (not sure how it works tbh) in the world. The Premier League and FIFA hire the people in it to do it for new stadiums and the World Cup.

Georgia Tech v Georgia game moved to Mercedes-Benz Stadium next season, what would have been a Tech home game. Absolutely hate that, it’s barely a home game at Bobby Dodd as it is, this is going to be a literal extra away game now.
