Novavax has been injected in me.

The pharmacist at CVS also confirmed with me two times to be sure I wanted Novavax and showed me the box without me having to ask. Just figured I’d share that since I know there was some concern here a few weeks ago cvs was giving people others even if they requested Novavax or something like that

 

i went to undergrad and grad to study public policy and every single model i used to believe in i’ve abandoned i don’t think people actually care about policy and power is the only thing that matters for politics and policy is incidental to that and i think my education was a complete waste of time and every academic account falls short on the fact that most of what is happening is caused by animalistic considerations of tribalism and i don’t have much faith in political advocacy or engagement personally

 

yeah, this is basically what happened to us when we went to go get Novavax too - they specified that Novavax is what we wanted and had us either look at or sign a paper and then showed us the box too

 

That whole pod is actually really good listen, I am just finishing it now. Hasan does such a good job of communicating true leftist views. The Youtube comments are super positive as well which is good to see when thinking of the Pod Save audience.

 

Thanks for the reminder. Got me to finally book a flu and COVID shot for Friday after work. Was glad to see they had a check box for Novavax

 

I ended up getting a flu shot & Novavax at the same time at CVS. was in and out of there in about 5-10 minutes tops, and they definitely made sure Novavax was what I was looking for and that I was aware that was what I was getting

 

Can someone give me the pros and cons of Novavax vs. the other vaccines? I've been meaning to schedule mine and just realized it's already mid-October.

 

Former co-worker of mine (just a few months older than me) had told me had a pretty miserable childhood, grew up lower middle class and continues to struggle to survive paying for a house and providing for his family. He also said his parents made a killing in their 401k investments and seemingly living the good life.

to add more to this-some more studies seem to indicate that mRNA produce an overall higher antibody count that spikes earlier and dissipates faster. But folks are quick to say higher antibody count won’t necessarily mean better protection. And they theorize novavax’s effect should last a little longer
