Cannot express how excited I am for this series to start. Also cannot express how incredibly unready I am in the event that the Yankees do not make it to the World Series

 

Shouldn’t you be ready? It’s not like, a thing they do a lot

 

I would be ready if we were going against the Astros or the Orioles this year because the Astros have been the team we can't get past for the better part of the last 10 years and we didn't look great against the Orioles this year.

The Yankees are better than the Guardians. They won the season series against them, they had more wins than them this year, they beat them a couple years ago in the ALDS. They're supposed to win this series and I expect them to win. I'm not ready for it if they don't.

There was some talk of bringing Greinke in to kc so he could get to 3,000 strikeouts this year, not sure if it would have worked out

They need to let him hit so he can get his 10th HR and steal his 10th base

 

10-10 career club. Huge achievement if it happens.

 

I can't remember the exact circumstances, but he was once asked what his career goals were and he said he didn't have any pitching goals, but he wanted to hit 10 homers and steal 10 bases and he finished with 9 of each. I've always thought that was a travesty
