It's definitely always been a thing and has always just baffled me at the lack of self awareness. If I was at a show like this and someone I knew was talking through a quiet song, it would tell me all I need to know about them.

The shows look like they were amazing overall though.

 

"Oh, they're playing a slow song that isn't Konstantine. HOW WAS YOUR DAY, RACH?!? OMG GIMME ALL THE TEA WHILE WE WAIT FOR THEM TO FINISH THIS SONGGGGUHHH!!!"

 

Yea, I sort of noticed in the moment, but was mostly able to focus on the music. But watching some of my videos earlier and damn this crowd was chatty AF. Which I don’t understand at all. It’s a sold out show. Other people want to be there and you’re just yapping away like a moron.

My other “what were they thinking” thing from the show is about the tall guy in the middle of my shot. He and his buddy were in a VIP seated area that cost $100 per seat for the upgrade. And these two dweebs stood by their chairs the entire time blocking the seated tables of people behind him. I just don’t understand. Why upgrade to stand by a chair?

 

I volunteer in a used bookstore that also sells used CDs for $1 and I literally never listen to physical CDs anymore but we have North in, and with my volunteer discount it would be like fifty cents and idk if I can say no to that just on principle tbh!!

 

I was at the Denver show Friday night, and they announced that next summer SoCo, Jack's Mannequin, and The Wilderness have been invited to perform at Red Rocks. That's going to be one hell of a show.

I got 5th cause I tried for the highest VIP at first and they had like 10 seats that went instantly.

Yeah, that was wild. I did 'luck' out and snag one of the high VIP tickets. Stoked for the venue tour!
