We reach for the longest shadow

Seasick put out another drop that looks dope, but I can’t spend any more money on records, haha.

I’m not getting there until 1:15 for Greyhaven today, then hanging out at the main stage. Bringing a lawn chair to post up in the shade between bands to make sure I got plenty of energy for Coheed.

Today is easier for me, except the fact the I am planning on seeing 3/4 sets in the shed and these sets are killing my back.

I'm wearing a red Chevelle shirt and a red Bucc-ee's hat (side note: people sure love Buc-ee's at FF lol).

    My plan for today:
    Evergreen Terrace
    Skycamefalling
    Silent Drive
    Noise Ratchet
    The Bled / Stretch Armstrong
    Poison The Well
    Coheed And Cambria

I think you’ll be finding me (grey Chasing Victory shirt, green shorts, same hat) in a lawn chair by the main stage most of the day.

Idle Threat, Evergreen Terrace, UnityTX, Misery Signals, LS Dunes, Saosin, and Coheed are my big ones today. Quite a few I’m interested in the Shed, just not sure my legs can take standing in there. We’ll make game time decisions on Shai Hulud and Stretch Arm Strong.

Same! Incredible. Jake is masterclass frontman and vocalist.

I think you’d LOVE this trail. Right around 16 out and back all gravel. Getting the rest of mileage circling the park was pure hell, I just couldn’t force myself to start back down the trail.

I looked everywhere for LS Dunes merch but they haven't set it up yet. Empty table next to Stretch Armstrong

I missed their set when I came in 2021 so I didn't want to miss it now.

I gotta say that once I found a good spot to be in at the shed the sets there became much easier. I am also enjoying the songs they are playing there between sets (currently The Pot by Tool).

Greyhaven were great, but they tailored a pretty heavy setlist, and I think their vibe would’ve been better in the shed than the pond.

If you take a shot of water every time Unity TX says motherfucker you’ll be adequately hydrated for how hot today feels

I was sitting in the parking lot eating a hot dog. They called people pussies at least 5 times in the time it took me to finish that hotdog.

Also it's nice to have cellular reception at a festival for a change.

Fall of Troy not playing any new stuff, like a proper fest band should

Donovan (Hail the Sun) singing FCP with The Fall of Troy was a highlight for me

If you eat meat, don’t miss the Pho Cue brisket banh mi fries.

Split Misery Signals and Fall of Troy. MisSigs sounded so good.

That Misery Signals set might have been one of the crazier things I’ve ever seen.

The power going out during the song was a bummer. It happened earlier too and a bunch of times yesterday.
