Very excited for SH2 and Metaphor next week

 

SH2 is definitely my day 1 game this month

 

I’m currently playing Bloodborne and am getting ready to do the DLC for the first time

I’ve also been doing the chalice dungeons for the first time too, those aren’t that fun

 

Chalice dungeons really suck IMO, the idea was good but the execution just isn't

Bloodborne DLC is better than the base game, it's wonderful

 

Orphan of Kos is maybe my most "overhyped difficulty" boss of the FromSoft catalog though. Yeah it's a hard boss but it's not nearly as hard as the other heavy hitters IMO

But it's a very fun fight as are others

 

Yeah they’re just so repetitive and the environments all being the same is lame. Just trying to power through them since I found out there’s bosses in them that aren’t in the regular game path haha

 

Reading “SH2” made me think, “soul hackers 2?!” until I forgot that the silent hill 2 remake is out next week. Oops

 

My last recent time sink is HFW, but playing through BL2 w/ friends has gotten me trying to get my Krieg from lvl 50 to 72. I took a week break from gaming bc I had a lot of graphic novels come in but once I'm done with both Hellblades and both Plague Tales I'm sure I'm gonna put a lot of time into Jedi Survivor

idek what Metaphor is. Obviously I'm a bit behind as far as AAA titles go

 

Jedi Survivor is a great game to spend some time with

Metaphor is new Atlus title a la SMT/Persona (more Persona than SMT based on what I've played)

I’m not going to lie to you all I’m making the very tough decisions of do I want to buy the dead rising remake, epic Mickey remake or Astro Bots.

or just save my money and play my massive backlog plus the last of us lol

 

Anyone have recommendations for DS games that would probably run well on an Android emulator? Been running the Gen IV/V and Yu Gi Oh Championship games with minimal issues, but anything that requires super responsive movements ala any platformer probably wouldn't work well.

Finished Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (and also watched the feature about the making of). This game is truly something so special. Entirely immersive and captivating. So much care put into it. A prime example of the potential of the medium

Hey all,

Decided to come back after a nice lil break. I just blocked any soapbox yappers who feel the need to yap at me when i'm not even interacting with them at all


I started Throne and Liberty on tues because I'm down with any MMO thats action-combat based. I really was meh on it the first day, but I gave it more of a chance yesterday and once I understood what the fuck was going on I really am enjoying it.

These live service MMOs throw sooooo many mechanics and menus and options at you it can be terrible overwhelming. I am surprised I changed my feelings on it because I was really indifferent the first day. I'm pumped to play more later today. I may even get the battle pass
