Speak No Evil was a blast! I’m glad it much better than I anticipated. Strange Darling for the second feature tonight!

Pretty late to it but our local bar movie club did Battle Royale tonight. Had fun with it but need to rewatch it cause I missed a lot of the dialogue in the beginning

Doing Fun Size now. Pretty fun! Nickelodeon PG-13 movie that my LB mutuals have compared to: After Hours, Adventures in Babysitting and John Hughes films

  4. loved Fun Size! my only gripe is iirc the Asian guy's asleep through most of it. not really the win for representation I was hoping for.

Went into Oddity blind (no pun intended) and so glad I did. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fun Size lives up to its name.

We watched My Boyfriend's Back yesterday and that supporting cast is insane. Pretty funny movie too.

  8. Oh man. I legitimately have a ranking of the movies they showed up until the newest season (I think) laying around somewhere. Let me get back to you lol

I loved Joshy when I first watched it. Pretty sure Gelman would also ruin that one for me now

Speaking of IT. Has anyone read the book? I kind of want to but not sure I can commit to a almost 1200 page book.

Yes and it is 100% worth it imo. However, the end is very off-putting and kinda controversial.

Off-putting might even be an understatement lol. But yeah, that aside, it’s one of the greatest horror books ever written. But the part that’s being referenced very nearly ruins the whole book imo.

The book flies by so it may be 1200 pages but it probably won’t feel like it

Might be my favorite story of all time. It's daunting, but reads incredibly fast once you get started, especially compared to his other epics like The Stands, at least for me. 'Salem's Lot rules too. If you want something shorter for spooky season, I still think Pet Sematary is his scariest and not just for the reasons King states about losing a child being the most horrifying thing he could think of, there's some legit creepy imagery in the more traditional sense throughout.
