Just randomly discovered her last night and she’s pretty great imo. Recommended for indie pop fans. She also makes puppets apparently. So recommended to people that like singers that also make puppets.

New album from UK duo Hailaker (Ed Tullet/Jemima Coulter) called Serenity Now

I was already a fan but this album is a delight, just beautifully constructed indie pop

“M3” and “Co-Star” are highlights and some of the best songs I’ve heard this year

RIYL: Bon Iver, Novo Amor, S. Carey

RÜFÜS DU SOL announced their new album, Inhale/Exhale, is coming out 10/11. One of my favorite bands and I never see them brought up on here, so I have to try to grab at least one other person. Lol

I mean just look at that album cover…

If you’re not familiar with them, I cannot not recommend this song from their 2016 album enough. I consider it one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. So if nothing else, try this one!

There's not a chance that anything beats this as my favourite song of the year.

This song could easily just bathe in its simple melancholic warmth, but man it's so much better, deeper, and richer for the swelling array of creaking, crackling textures that pop up, little life forms breaking out and receding, uneasily, fertilising the ground for the country serenity that emerges by the end.

I suggest to listen to Louis Cole itself and with the Knower duo. It is one of my favorite so far
