I don’t disagree that we need to make zoning reforms plus incentivize density and walkable environments. Grants to local government will help with that. That should definitely be the priority. And I suppose if that was all done it would mean builders are naturally more inclined to build more densely, which could be enough on its own to the point where you don’t need a subsidy of any kind.

Mail in ballots are fucked up in Pennsylvania. Tons of them are getting delivered already sealed, everyone in my neighborhood who requested one has this issue and it’s starting to be reported on. The response I got from my county’s election office was to just tear it open and seal it up with scotch tape. That’s fine and dandy but I don’t need some pennsyltucky nutjobs claiming mail in ballots are tampered with and trying to discredit them again.

If it happens to you and you can get out to the booth go and do it. Last thing we need is bullshit like this being the reason we lose.

 

Dropped my absentee ballot off at the post office. I figured that was the best way to do it without anyone messing with it.

 

I always vote in person. I have horrible cursive and I have heard stories of people's ballots getting dq'd because their sigs don't match the one they wrote at 18, I don't wanna take a risk with that fuckery.

I feel like the Walz debate prep was based on Vance being more technocractic asshole than he was last night and he did not pivot quick enough to what Vance was doing. It happened later on in the debate and around the Jan 6th questions but it should have happened sooner.
