Really enjoyed the first episode of The Penguin.
Also watched Stopping the Steal last night, which was well done but jacked my anxiety up to about 1000 and made it hard to fall asleep.

 

Just finished re-watching Arcane in preparation for season 2 and it was just as good as I remembered. A show that is far far better than it has any right being. Amazing writing and animation and genuinely action packed / moving / intriguing etc.

I wonder if season 2 will be mega episodes or 3 episodes each time. It's released in 3 parts on11/9 / 16 / 23 with an after episode chat for each chunk. I hope it's 3 40 minute episodes each time and not 3 2 hour movies.

mostly watching for Christin Milioti at this point. Colin Farrell's good yeah, but his voice is just so grating in this, and i don't even mean the accent, he can keep it, i just wish he'd talk normally.

 

Here to say that, again, Industry on Max is phenomenal. Season 3 finale was perfection.

Paramount+ and Peacock have had live channels from the jump

 

Yeah I got Hulu live again for football season and I enjoy being able to just throw on sportscenter or SVU in the background

 

i'm glad live channels are there for ppl who use it tbh, i just hate the drawbacks that streaming has had on tv: shorter seasons, longer wait between seasons, shows getting canceled after one or two seasons, Max merging with Discovery and Zazlav being an asshat. i'm paying for ad supported plans. we're right where we started but in some ways we're even worse off than before
