All of these things are easier to deal with if you’re on a label that hires you a live production crew and your own sound guy who knows your songs and knows exactly when to turn up / down certain things… and gets you top tier wireless gear and in-ear monitoring so you can hear yourself clearly etc

have you thought about maybe messing with some samples in between tracks live? our music is at different ends of the spectrum, but when we play two longer songs back to back we play a sample in between songs to cut through the tension while we tune. i don't mind being the talkative frontman but playing samples in between tracks has been a nice tool to keep the vibes high in between tracks

 

play cuts of dialogue from obscure movies and then go full throttle chug chug into the next song

I think some of the cooler stuff I've seen live is the multi-instrumental dudes that record and loop in between songs mixed in with drum samples, keeping tempo, etc etc

I remember seeing Mylets open for TTNG and he did some really cool stuff
