Great first time strike by andrich from outside the box that got drilled right into the bottom corner.

So, in one of the more stupid things about living in the US, we have Peacock and NBC Sports. Both are owned by the same company who has sole rights to the EPL. Most games are in Peacock. Some are on NBC Sports. So, if you want to watch the EPL, you have to subscribe to two services for the same company. But the English cups are on ESPN+ alongside La Liga and Bundesliga. Three services to keep up with one league. And the Champions League is on a fourth service...

that's unfortunately not unique to the US. If I want to watch all Bayern games I need 4 different subscriptions.

Edit: It's actually 3. I counted DAZN twice because they are evil.

Odd that’s it’s better here than there. I need espn+ for pokal and league, paramount for champions league.

Yeah the big NBC match (usually the Saturday 12:30 est) will only be available through a cable package. Subscribing to Peacock doesn’t give you access. I wish it was different and you could just pay an extra X amount of dollars on peacock to guarantee you can watch every EPL match.

and to drive you more up the wall the EFL split their rights. FA Cup is staying with ESPN+ and the league matches/ Carabao Cup got bought up by Paramount/CBS.

Hansi Flick made some bold lineup changes vs Osasuna. Every single decision has been disastrous, haha.

He probably thought/thinks it would be a good game week to "roll the dice" considering it's Atelti v Real.

Here in England it is just as bad, if not worse. Televised games are split between Sky And TNT sports with Amazon having 2(maybe more) complete game weeks. BUT not all games are televised and there is no legal way to watch the games that aren't. There is a 3pm Saturday blackout where games aren't allowed to be televised and then some Sunday games that get moved because of Thursday European games just go untelevised.

It's actually 3 subscriptions. But still very bad. And it's a rather recent development. It all really started when DAZN bought parts of the CL rights 6 years ago and since then it all went downhill consumerwise.

Right now it is as follows:
Sky shows the Saturday Bundesliga games + DFB Pokal (and also Premier League) - 35 €
DAZN shows the Friday and Sunday Bundesliga games + most of the CL games - 45 €
Amazon Prime shows one CL game on Tuesday (which is usually the top game that round) - 9 €

And if you also want to watch Europa League + Europa Conference League then you also need RTL+ - 6 €

Osasuna deserve this win emphatically. But that was some strike by Lamine that’ll be lost in the narrative lol

  25. I can’t put into words what’s happening in Blackburn right now because I’m afraid I’ll jinx it :crylaugh:
