I don't see Ghost playing a show any time soon unless they're getting ready to start their new "era"

 

look I have no right to complain cause there’s still like 50 days until the festival and stuff but man camp flog gnaw still not having the lineup announced is annoying lol

Okay yeah I might fly over for that (it's my birthday weekend)

 

Went both days to metalfest and was there most of both days. It was not a "shitshow" and there were no fights. Very well run, the overkill stuff was true and the rain sucked but it ended before Nails so the it didn't affect any of the headliners. Everyone really rallied and had a great time per usual. Can't wait for next year.

 

Coldplay just did two huge Rose Bowl gigs as well

Speaking of Coldplay, they are doing a SiriusXM show at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on 10/7

 

Insane that he’s playing the Kia Forum. But, he’s also played the Hollywood Bowl, so I guess it’s not much of a surprise

 

Does Weird Al do a GA Pit or all seated? Be cool to get some spin kicks goin to "Eat It"

 

I’m probably a curmudgeon but I’ve seen Weird Al twice. Once as the full show and the stripped back tour after Covid. Easily two of my least favorite shows I’ve ever been too.

 

Yep, they were there in 2023. They're back next year and are playing the Hollywood Bowl.

 

it's always been very wild to me once I realized the Hollywood Bowl has the same capacity as Kia Forum and other arena-sized venues in LA (17,500 ish).

The Bowl just feels so GIGANTIC when you're there and see the miles of people spread out across all the levels. such an interesting thing IMO

 

that's wild. The stripped-back show was VERY catered to dedicated superfans, though, with tons of deep cuts and non-parodies/hits, so if you aren't that I'd understand if the show wasn't for you.
