This team sucks. I’m so over it man. I want to be patient but it doesn’t matter. Nothing works. Nothing fixes this club. They’re broken and cursed.

Also, I will say it’s absolutely disgusting the way some Spurs fans have treated Brennan Johnson. Dude didn’t even want to celebrate with the away fans after scoring the winner. I know I’ve been critical of him but my god I can’t imagine what people were saying to him before he deleted his social media and how sad he looked even after that goal today.

I just saw the clip of him after the game. He looks genuinely scared to go near the fans.

I think he leaves in January. It’s incredibly hard to come back from this.

 

Really wanted to go to Arsenal vs PSG in two weeks but have just been informed I did not get them through the ballot. Booooo.

 

The ballot system is sooooo bad.

 

Haven’t been to a game this season and looks like I won’t before November at this rate.

Made more apparent because I can’t get tickets the old way either. Used to go to like 10/15 games and now I get to about 5 in all comps lol.

I think we see a players strike sooner than later over fixture congestion. Rodri and Carvajal have both said it in the last few days

 

So many idiots i’ve seen touting the “you get paid millions, suck it up” response to player’s concerns. Even if you want to wave away the legitimate concerns to player health and career longevity, players have admitted that games are often being played at 60-70% energy and I think that’s clear to see on the pitch. The expanded and congested schedules are anti football in every aspect.

 

The hate for Johnson for me is weird because I don’t think he’s even been bad. He came in as a 22 year old last year and wasn’t expected to be a regular starter. But circumstances put him in that role. And he had 15 goal contributions.

I think having some of these teenage breakout stars has warped everyone’s perception of young players. 22 is still very young for a PL starter at a bigger club. He has a bad game here and there. But that should be expected with a player at his age imo. He’s shown plenty of potential and I think he has a chance to be a big time player for us.

 

Fans also think match days are their only days of work. It’s not just multiple games each week. It’s training sessions and traveling in between. There are very few days off for these guys.
