John // OC now, OH forever.

The whole reason WWWY is $400 is because that’s probably what Warped should have been all along to actually pay all of the bands what they were worth.

I knew Imagine Dragons were big but maybe it's just me had not paid any attention to them in a long time but this popped up on my feed and but big enough to do 2 nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is mental

I've been saying since it's inception that WWWY should be structured more like Riot fest or other multi day festivals with the lineup split across multiple days. I don't understand how anyone can get excited for a festival with 40+ bands all playing on one day when in reality you'll only see like 8 of them.

But they’d make less money which unfortunately is always the biggest factor

  5. I had no issue paying wwwy prices the first two years but album plays do nothing for me and the band variety obviously suffers as they bring back bands they’ve already had. Add in Vegas is expensive and sucks and I probably won’t go again lol.

bring back Adjacent on a non Memorial Day weekend.

I don't know why the $200 "alleged" price tag is such a concern. So many people texted me complaining about that yesterday. Has no one been to a festival in the last 5 years? That's a pretty standard price.

if its 2 days that a steal really. i think people just like to complain and compare to old days. people will pay $200 to see just blink then complain if blink headlines a 2 day warped tour at $250

Also interesting when I had tickets for WWWY the first year I had to sell them because flights from NYC were averaging around $800 and it was too many expenses. I just checked for this year, and with only a month's notice I can get a round trip flight to Vegas that weekend for 300 bucks. Has me really wondering how much of day 2 is sold, or how many out of towners are doing the trip this year.

Same, the first 2 years I had zero desire to see short sets from the same bands I've been seeing for 20 years. But like you mentioned, the casual fan isn't excited for deep cuts.

Both Warped & Adjacent in AC were incredible, living in Philly without even seeing a lineup I'd 100% be on board

  12. Notice the prices on these ticket stubs...

Sure, all festivals are in the triple digits these days. But part of the reason Warped Tour was so great was the amount of bang you got for your buck.

You cant compare the OG Warped Tours to these new festival Warped Tours.
The 2019 fest in Atlantic City had Blink 182 headline one day, and A Day to Remember & 311 headline the other. Arena and ampitheater headliners. The original touring Warped Tours never had bands on that level, with the exception of 2005 when Fall Out Boy and MCR blew up in popularity months after being booked.

  17. Exactly. :-)

All I know is that there's a veryyyy slim chance that Warped Tour 2025 would have anything that would make me go "Oh shit I have to be there! I don't care if I have to spend hundreds of dollars to buy a ticket, a flight, and get a hotel!"

Also, why not just have Warped Tour and When We Were Young combine forces?

While we're talking about festival prices, would like to take a moment to shout out Four Chord again, where 1 day/2 day GA was $115/$190 respectively, and you could easily see every band on the entire lineup if you wanted to.

I’m already over talking about ticket prices, people seem to be getting close to being “over it” and they may have found their cap? We shall see.

If we're talking festival prices, All Things Go NYC was severely UNDER-priced given how stacked the line up. Chappell Roan alone could sell out 2 nights at that place with tickets higher than the festival was charging. Encouraged people who got through to buy extras to scalp.
