Based on what you like, which is very similar to my tastes, you will love Tinykin. The game is delightful and plays magnificently

 

One world out of five down and Astro Bot is really impressing me. Discovering the secrets in the level by exploring and seeing the different ways to use each level’s unique power up are really rewarding. I love the hub world too. Lots of cool props to get for your bots while they chill lol.

 

Is Downsize Surprise the best 3d platformer level ever?

Just finished that level. I loved experimenting with seeing where I can go with the mouse power up.

Just finished Future Redeemed. Tears were had again. Might just be the best DLC I've played in ANY game ever. My jaw dropped when the news background name dropped Dmitri Yuriev. And that post credits scene. I need time to sort out all this lore and what not, wow.

Truly cant believe that the newest AAA game that is pushing the most advanced console to its limits is a 3D platformer. Feels like a dream.

Fanbase seems split on whether the post credits scene is tied to xenosaga or xcx. Personally I think it's saga, but I do understand that would be hard due to bamco owning the rights. HOWEVER, monolithsoft DOES thank bamco in the ending credits of the game which you have to ask yourself.....WHY?!?!

The only reason i think it could be xcx is that they have said they'd like to do a sequel, and they've also shown interest in bringing the original to current systems, so this could be them reviving it since it hasn't been that long since the wiiu.

With that being said, the radio did mention a specific term that comes from xcx, but the rest of the name drops and lore were saga.

 

Gotta be something cooking between bamco and monolith, otherwise I feel like bamco wants to do nothing with saga, I wanna be wrong though.

Part of me also wants to believe that they’ll bring xcx on switch or switch 2, I feel like that’s given before we even think about XBC4 or XCX2.

 

Well remember stupid bamco passed on remastering the saga trilogy because according to their market research it wouldn't be financially worth it......I think that was like 10 years ago though, so with the explosion of blade, I think (and hope) that interest in saga grew quite a bit and hopefully bamco took notice and we can see a joint venture between them and Nintendo and let Takahashi go WILD.

I fully believe we're getting a port, especially if we ever get a sequel. Just like blade 1 got not only a switch version but also a 3DS port too, I think as long as monolithsoft is involved they won't want to leave entry points on dead hardware (Wii and wiiu lol).

 

God I hope so, I’ve actually never played those games but I’ve done my research and I would kill for remastered ports of some kind. Nintendo and Bamco are no strangers to each other so I hope it happens.

Oh yeah for sure, I NEED it.

 

Every xeno game is fantastic. It just sucks no company has ever had faith until now to let Takahashi do his thing.

Xenogears: only 1 game of a planned 6 part series.
