I grew up with Denny's. I did not grow up with Waffle House.

 

I’ve never been to a Waffle House before. Lol

 

The best thing about Denny's is that if you order a milkshake they bring you the metal container they mix it in so it is really like a shake and a half.

 

All this aside, the real correct answer is Perkins.

The first one doesn’t do much more than some nostalgia for me but I love this title and I hope they make 10 of these and just keep adding another Beetlejuice to the title

out of this thread regardless until I see the movie. Hope everyone has fun!

 

I have never been to Denny's before in my life. I have been to plenty of diners and waffle houses before however which, pretty good establishments

 

This was pretty fun! Glad that Burton is back doing something that feels tactile and weird instead the grimdark bullshit he’s been on since Alice In Wonderland.

Cast is great. There’s a lot of loose ends that feel like big ol nothings (the villain, the ex wife, the father). But if you just come to play in the Beetlejuice sandbox, it’s a good time.

 

This was fun! Michael Keaton commits and Justin Theroux stole the show for me. They succeeded in avoiding the lame comedy sequel writing of “let’s do that again!” but there are still heavy references to the original that are about 96% unforced. While some of the jokes fell flat for me, it actually builds onto the original in ways I didn’t expect and surprised me every once in a while. I feel like everyone here made the movie they wanted to and that’s all one could ask for.

 

It was okay. Never was a big fan of the first film. Didn't walk out a big fan of this one either. I've never been into much of Burton's visual style or work tbh. I'm sure if people liked the first they'll like this one, but for me it's a movie I don't think I'll ever revisit.

Had a good time with this for sure, and it's definitely the most Burton has felt like Burton in a long time.

 

I love how they handled the Charles stuff
I know it's realistic but it was so frustrating watching Astrid not pick up on the most sinister vibes ever
Was MacArthur Park just an excuse for Jenna Ortega to dance sure, was it still amazing of course

 

I loved this so much

 

I liked most of this, didn’t love any of it, and disliked only a small bit. Def overstuffed. Cut two of those storylines and tighten it a bit.

 

Never in my life could I have anticipated hearing a Sigur Ros needle drop in a Beetlejuice movie lmao
