    Things have changed.

I don't believe that was implied at all.

Yeah I think it was just my buddy constantly showing me the one remastered mix that a fan did online.

Also... Every Other Weekend is fucking incredible. Holy crap.

It’s a really fun batch of songs. On a whole not impressive as the actual album but that’s not what this is anyway. Some choices I don’t love but whatever, at least it never gets anywhere near as bad as cali deluxe and that bears repeating lol. I’ve already listened like four times today so as critical as I’ve been I definitely like it haha

    ONS is very neighborhoods imo

  7. Cali Deluxe was so bad, so I'll be stoked if it's better haha. This whole era doesn't even compare to the Cali era though.

Can’t imagine they’ll push another slow mid tempo track to radio but can’t go back could crush as a single. Top tier blink song, an instant classic.

everyone everywhere has grown on me a ton over the course of the day, lol. The chorus and bridge is just so good and the pairing with mark’s robot verses weirdly works; last minute and a half really sells it to me

if you never left also fucking rules

Also this will most likely get lost in the OMT Part 2 hype, but thought I'd share this news anyway...

Looks like the ACL shows in Texas will be streamed:

Ok, so I have some quick thoughts after hearing everything for a few times now. This didn't knock me on my bum like Part 1 did, but it was still enjoyable. I will take new music from these guys any day of the week and am really glad we are still managing to get new tunes from these guys.

"Take me in" is the shit, I love that song. Bridge be damned, I can deal because the rest is so good haha.
I'm also really enjoying "Every other weekend," "If you never left," "Can't go back," and "One night stand."

Can't go back translates well to a recording and I enjoy it better in this form. It sucked the energy from the crowd a little bit vs the rest of the show when I saw them imo. It feels very neighborhoods like.

Aside from the infamous lyrics of "All in my head," the only miss for me is "Everyone Everywhere." Sorry to hop on the bandwagon haha.

First impressions: Fuck yes, to blink getting weird and having fun with music. This whole collection on part 2 feels like they're just writing and having fun. That's what I'm hearing anyway. The new wave sound really does work for them. I wouldn't mind getting an album that leans into that style more in the future. Stoked to have new songs to memorize.

Are they not offering this for digital download? Recall they even had ALAC files for purchase when OMT came out.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

    Sums up my thoughts.

These tracks are so much more dramatic (musically and lyrically) than anything they’ve ever done and I’m all about it. I’m hearing genuine growth here, people!
