So quick timeline, in July they played 3 headlining shows, 1 in Liverpool & 2 in Cardiff. Then Reading & Leeds fest 2 weeks ago. Last week on the 31st they cancelled their Dublin show 15 minutes before doors were set to open, & on Tuesday they cancelled their Australia & US tours the day of the first Australia show (did they even go to Australia?). I've been thinking about this so much the last 2 days & am so confused & frustrated at the lack of communication, but ultimately I hope they're all well, & they get things sorted.

My girlfriend thinks Chappell Roan could do a stadium tour at this point. I said that was ludicrous at this point but I need to get Chorus’ thoughts.

 

Stadiums? Maybe not. Arenas? Amphitheaters? Totally

 

Almost in some markets but most likely arenas, 2-3x nights in major cities.

 

Joyce Manor has all the makings of a band who should tour/release music all the time, but I think their pace makes them an outlier that helps them thrive in their own way.

They slot well into most tours (old guard and new waves, alike) kreally well, even without a perfect fit like Gaslight, and can bring anyone in the scene with them on a tour. They also go on such random runs (small cities, short and sweet like this one, etc) more often than proper tours nowadays, making therm a tougher act to catch compared to others we know as serial tourers.

 

I've been saying Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Chappell Roan should do stadiums together

 

It seems everybody is part of the reunion except Rob

 

Not familiar with either newbie.... suitable replacements? What's the consensus?

 

Hmmm I’m gonna assume they have better songs than this one, but also not sure why they would pick this as the first song out of the gate

 

Great choice. Only saw Dead Sara once open for Muse back in ‘12 or ‘13 and even then she was jaw droppingly great on vocals…a decade later I’m sure she’s got even more seasoning. I didn’t get into the dead Sara discography afterwards as the songs didnt do much for me but her singular performance is the thing I remember most about that night

 

New vocalist sounds pretty good and the new song is decent. Are we expecting more dates than the ones they put out? Aside from the rumored festival slots

 

bet there's a summer arena/amphitheatre tour booked for after the festival slots
