Imagine a world where the people at fault were the ones being laid off and not the ones laying people off.

 

so as someone who used to work QA: they literally don't have anything to do right now and it'll be years before they do, seeing how Rocksteady is a single project studio, and support for KTJL is petering out.

that's why the big publishing houses have centralized QA teams that move from project to project instead of being in-studio as it leads to layoffs after projects are done.

like it totally sucks that people lost their jobs, in a perfect world they'd just get paid until the next project is ready for the QA phase, but that's not realistic.

 

Even though I’m still working through Outlaws and will be for a while, I finally caved and bought Hogwarts Legacy for $20 so I’ll probably get to that after AC:Shadows.

Playing Outlaws and I’m trying to do the side missions at the Pyke poaching farm and I just do not have enough patience lol. I wish There was like a sniper option to take out some of the guards on the cliffs.

Flintlock: finished it last night. decidedly not mid. didn't like it as much as Forspoken but it's up there. It reminds me of God of War 2019 with a little more, uhm, Ubisoft magic. Very good game! Possibly the best progression I have ever seen in a game. Funnily enough, the thing I was most disappointed about was the graphics. They were fine but like... I expected more.

Now on to Wanted: Dead which I picked up for 3 bucks lol

Im gonna say I hope Astrobot does super well and is going to garner rave reviews.

but I’ll also say this: only knack fans are as annoying as astrobot fans.
Case in point: Nearly 40 years ago a platformer pulled the gaming industry back from the brink of collapse...

 

Playing through white orchard in Witcher 3 on ps5 and even tho I’ve done it a million times I’m still loving it and am simply in awe at the world and art direction. There’s a reason why many of the games that copied the Witcher 3 weren’t half as good and it’s that secret sauce. We’ll see how far I take this play through but I imagine at a certain point I’m gonna finally make my way over to Cyberpunk

 

The first knack game wasn’t that bad my little brother was like 5 at the time and I watched him play the whole thing haha

I think it’s very cool that Wanted: Dead finally gives representation and visibility to marginalized groups not seen in gaming like the deaf-mute and annoying German women.
