Woof. The Ted show on Peacock is really bad. Guess that's not too surprising but it has super good reviews so I figured I'd give it a shot.

The only redeeming characters in this thing are Ted himself, and the older cousin Blaire

The parents are very bad actors. The kid playing John is barely better. And it's basically unwatchable because everyone's Boston accents are really fucking terrible

 

I love the parents, especially the dad

 

the dad is Steve from American Dad haha

 

He's also the pilot on The Orville

 

That's hilarious haha. Idk, he's a much better voice actor to me I guess.

It blew my mind when I realized the actor playing John also played Max in Parenthood.

 

Just finished that episode and yeah wow, definitely a top tier episode.

Although it’s really starting to bug me how often you catch the cameraman and crew in the mirror of the interrogation room

 

Even for being Power Rangers, that special was ass.

right haha it seems to be implying in the tweet that it’s crazy no one is watching apple’s shows but they’re using as an example a show that no one besides critics could possibly watch

 

I think it was a general comment about Apple’s relatively low viewership compared to other streamers more than the specific show.
