Or really just any marketing at all. Part of what made Swerve feel bigger is he had all those outside connections he could pull from. I see photos all the time of AEW people doing local TV a day or two before the show, but even that is WAY too late to be grabbing people (and what wrestling fan is watching local programming at 10am and ALSO going to a show they didnt know about that night?)

 

I was shocked they had Skye Blue & Kyle Fletcher on some random local morning show here last month.

I wish speedball would get a run at the TNA title, but unfortunately TNA is in love with older washed up talent in its main event scene. Guys like Bailey, Ace Austin, Trey Miguel etc should be pushed to the moon over guys like Moose, The Hardys, Nemeth etc That’s my issue with TNA, they don’t push the right people.

 

Id love Darby to get a run, but, legit just do that match at Wrestledream then. Doing it at Grand Slam is just such an odd choice, and a random TV loss for Danielson is weird unless he is hurt.

Also, that means Christian is just looming over him with his cash-in, so we probably get back-to-back short runs?

Good I’m happy other wrestlers support Swerve getting paid. A lot wrestlers are gonna have an argument now on why they should be getting top dollar and I think companies are gonna have to start paying up.
