  1. City buy an impact player for cheap form a club they share owners with and now sign a quality midfielder for free because Barca are a disaster.

    It's all hell.

Will Maresca now work with 22 players or is this another player who's 30 year contract he doesn't give a shit about?

Meanwhile, Sterling is off. I’d take him as a rotation option at Arsenal tbf, wages and fee depending.

I'd worry that he'd be far too expensive as a rotation option, especially within our wage structure, but if Arteta could get 19-20 levels from him as a starter, I would take him one hundred percent.

Sterling will probably want too much...sterling to get the Arsenal move, right?

Juventus. The nice old Italian retirement home.

Interesting bit of business here if it comes to fruition, from what I have read he would fit well with Haaland in a two forward system.

Interesting move. Good striker. Premier League title challenger good though... actually potentially could be.

    hmmm

I remember reading a guy say that after a big away victory on FM he'd walk over to the corner of the room to clap the away fans.

Think he would slot in for what we asked Alvarez to do when we played two forwards. Not sure as a single forward but seems like the club wants some "low-expectation" squad type players and trying to hit on another player like Alvarez is riskier and my guess costlier.

In my current game I was 3-0 down to Valencia at half time, made 4 changes and a formation/tactics change at the break. Won 4-3 with the winner in the last ten minutes. I’m not going to lie I did some absolutely embarrassing things for the 5 minutes after the final whistle.

lost the midweek game after 4-0 with 0 shots on target though. Humbling moment

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I wouldn't be shocked if the players' union (PFA?) get involved here. In a normal workplace, I think this sort of behaviour would be getting close to constructive dismissal.

Not sure why this guy sounds so happy to be shot of Trippier. He's someone who is probably starting to age out a bit now, but as a personality he made a massive difference at Newcastle and I think he'd probably still be solid with a bit of rotation. What really destroyed his performances last season was a ridiculous run of games where we had no cover for him at all, so he played the lot and was absolutely ruined by the end of it.

Man, that's a hard read. I'll look out for the Amazon doc which is coming out about him. He's lived a curious life, to say the least. I don't actually know much about him pre England.

Excellent, now go get someone like Johan Bakayoko

Would be a poor career move on his part to come and (not) play second fiddle to Saka.

Seems to work for City to have two good players in a position, no?

Besides, Saka needs rest so whoever it is would get plenty of game time.

  24. It drives me crazy that it’s hard to convince players to do this at any club not named Man City or Real Madrid. And I get it…those clubs win consistently…but so would others if you’re willing to sacrifice minutes!

I dunno, Bakayoko specifically seems like the sort of player who needs to be first choice at his age. He needs a move between PSV and a club like Arsenal imo.
