I don’t like the TE slot in your normal QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLEX league because TE10 << WR31, but it’s good/fine in bigger lineup leagues

Why I ever agreed to post in this thread based on the recommendations of this hateful bastard and the other dumb SOB is beyond my comprehension

 

Eliminating TE was something I was down with when it was literally Gronk & Kelce and then an absolute pile of crap

I feel like this season there’s like 11 TE’s who will potentially produce fantasy related points that I’m now fine with it

 

IDP should be the norm for dynasty but it's a lot of work for re-draft. Especially because a lot of the best defensive scorers change each season, like the best defensive PLAYERS doesn't change that much but in terms of being in position to impact plays.. teams start intentionally avoiding the ones who had the most production recently and scheming plays away from them

so last year performance doesn't really help you decide who to take in IDP for any individual season the same way it can for offensive players

 

I am not. I don’t follow either sport, but I would be if I decided to become a fan of either sport

I don't like IDP just because I don't think it properly scores a defensive player's value a lot of the time (especally DBs) but idk there's no real good solution to that, I get that it's just something you accept when you play it

every advanced statistic that measures off-ball defense is skewed in some way, otherwise I'd be all for putting advanced stats in the mix, but they don't work as well in football as they would in baseball. Most football analytics like this are a little more ambiguous in the way that baseball is about who gets credited with an error / who doesn't get charged with an error even though it clearly was
