I would definitely go to the theater with her

 

I have no problem handling the heat, my problem with a lot of the really spicy stuff is it just tastes like shit. So I will take a balance of heat and good flavor over heat-for-heat's-sake any day.

 

Yeah everyone says Da Bomb hot sauce is fucking disgusting

 

Tabasco is the level of heat that I like and can handle easily, but if a hotter sauce actually tastes good I'll go for it and deal with the pain

 

It is truly terrible lol

 

I can’t handle any level of spice. My tongue is weird though, I can’t drink coffee or alcohol either because no matter how much sugar/sweetener/whatever I only detect PURE coffee/alcohol

 

For years I would have at least four different hot sauces in my fridge and put on almost anything. Now it’s usually just one and I’ll occasionally sprinkle red pepper flakes on whatever I’m making. But the spiciest food for me by far has been at Indian restaurants

 

Spice good even if I can be a baby about it I’ll suck it up for the sake of good flavor

 

I had the best steak frites of my life last night and they had these giant peppercorns on it that made the dish almost kind of spicy but it was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life and I told my gf trust me let me order it rare and thank god I did it was unreal

 

the only thing I put in my black coffee is 100 proof vodka

 

truly. I once put a dot of that stuff on a Ritz cracker and lost feeling in my face for 20 minutes.

 

I used to love spicy chicken and nashville hot stuff and spicy thai food, but I've had such bad acid reflux in the past few years I've gone to full bland.

 

I just hate how with spicy food you never know ahead of time if it'll actually be spicy, I've been burned before pun intended

Yeah I love me some spicy food. We always have several different kinds of sauce and I love trying new ones. Hab sauce is one brand that has a ton of really great ones. I am sort of waiting for my body to fail me though haha, at some point I’ll probably have to dial it back

I must not be that big of a baby because when I worked at a restaurant with a Nashville hot chicken I’d routinely tell people it’s only kind of hot and they’d get mad at me

 

I had to cut WAY back on my sodium because of my blood pressure being crazy high, so I had to ditch a ton of the hot sauces that I liked because they just had too much, but I've found some really good ones that don't have too too much sodium

 

holy FUCK you're right I just checked some of mine and they're like 200mg per tsp lol

 

oh yeah, it killed me - I was never one to add a ton of salt while cooking, but I would load everything up with hot sauce that had a ton of sodium

 

In 2016 on election night, around 10pm or so I knew it was over and went to sleep hoping for a miracle that never came. The two other people on my lil section of the department and I all HATED trump and when we had lunch the next day we were all depressed.

My mom made fairly bland food, but it tasted good. She used seasoning and such when it was needed; but otherwise, it was very simple. I dig buffalo sauce stuff, but that’s about it. I avoid anything hotter.

 

I've ran into a lot of people that don't know how to properly salt their food when cooking. They've all been white.

 

It is only kind of hot, unless you go to a place with increasing levels of heat just a standard Nashville wasn't too bad. I really liked it.
