Solomon is a weird one imo. They brought him in, he got injured, and now they don’t want him anymore. He never really got a chance tbh.

 

Yeah, just unfortunate for Solomon. Weird situation, after that injury it’s just seemed like he either isn’t in the plans anymore or isn’t the same player he was or something.

 

Feeling pretty good about my initial lineup. I’m pretty high on Kulu this season, especially at that price. He’s had a really impressive preseason.

And I went for the three quality strikers over Haaland and lesser depth. We’ll see how quickly I regret that.

 

Was gonna go Haaland-less until I remembered they’re playing Chelsea, who look a mess at the back currently.

Rodri out for the weekend though, City looks so much less cohesive when he's not playing. Could limit Haalands chances.

 

How we have still not signed any sort of Rodri backup makes zero sense to me (ignoring Phillips).

For FPL, part of me wants to go full chaos mode and just go with auto select. that way i can blame the computer instead of myself when the season starts poorly

 

Szmodics introduced at Ipswich today. Blackburn of course chooses not to disclose the fee but Ipswich have said it was £10m. I feel like they should have gotten more than that but whatever.

 

Probably so low as he's 29 next month.

 

Going to my first One Knox game tonight. Been trying all summer and it finally worked out. They move into the new stadium next season and I hope that’ll make it easier to get involved.

 

Haven’t done FPL the last couple of years but decided to join and figured the only way I wanted to do it is without Haaland. Will make sure to see it out and not bail a few weeks in this time.

 

Already hate all my fpl team and can't wait to irrationally hate them all through the season.

 

What is fantasy if not a rage wildcard reshuffle of your entire team in week seven

 

I have Haaland but would love if this season plays out in a way that takes him down a notch.

it’s kinda too late to suggest it now, but I did consider tossing the idea around of none of us in the league having Haaland as a rule earlier this summer
