I know Riot Mike was excited to have 5 main stages this year and probably planned on each stage to have a bigger draw than usual. So do you think the rebel stage will be the NoFx stage or do you think they’re getting Rise or Radical? Could they change the whole layout all together?

I am relieved now that I don't have to go to Bridgeview for the fest but after last year's fest where I saw people in the surrounding community getting angry even more than usual I would probably take the pink line instead of trying to find parking. Last year there were some close calls, don't want to take a chance, especially now.

This is still so wild. In a selfish way this certainly works out better for myself, but I do feel for anyone who had their plans set or changed with it being at SeatGeek.

That being said, excited to see the schedule!!

According to the web site they're gonna have the same ol' five stages. NOFX closed out Rise in 2021 so I'd assume they'd be on one of those two stages. My best guess is that they'll shuffle around some of the other acts toward the middle of the poster to headline Rebel. There's enough acts on there that could do a main stage or Rebel. And thinking about acts like Sunami, Drug Church, and Gel? They may actually prefer a smaller stage anyway...

EDIT: And, TBH, with how they've been drawing on this farewell tour... Rebel would be way too small for NOFX.

I hope they put the NoFX stage by all the food instead of on the dust bowl!

Rebel has a small pit if I remember correctly, right?

I think that after Drain, they wouldnt dare to give hardcore bands Rebel stage for that reason, so there arent people trying to storm the stage or at least have a big pit for security to stop them.

    But I might be wrong

Drain played on Radical, not Rebel.

Oh I know, thats why having a smaller stage with a smaller pit (as it is Rebel) would have made things easier for fans to storm the stage.

But we will know where bands like Sunami play this year in 30ish minutes

Gel and Sunami on the mainstages on Sunday was unexpected, but so cool for them!

Also, dont see a Rebel Stage in there, so not sure which one will be the smallest one now.

SOCO vs Op Ivy is the hardest one. They also fucked over the indie crowd Saturday HARD.

Man, the conflicts for me on Saturday really make me just want to wait for after shows.

Looks like they kept the names for a couple of the stages from riot land

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Bright Eyes and Pavement overlapping genuinely has me shocked

  17. Overall pretty smooth schedules for me this year with a few exceptions.

    Hives/Armed conflict hurts a bit
    Spoon/Waxahatchee/St. Vincent overlaps are rough
Bright Eyes/Pavement is the brutal one
Sunami/Fiddlehead/Gel is a rough spot too

  19. Leaving after SoCo on Sunday will be nice.

Seeing Slayer and Sublime at the same tme tells me that the Sunday crowd is going to be insufferable.

  21. Actually the SoCo crowd at Radical might be insufferable too, judging by the ICP crowd crammed into that space last year, but no way I'm missing it.

Waxahatchee only getting 45 minutes and Beach Bunny only getting 40 is rough

and the Bright Eyes/Pavement overlap is WHACK same with Waxahatchee and St. Vincent

that and Sublime vs NoFX’s final Chicago show are the biggest for me all weekend.

I was hoping for Beach Bunny to play the main stage again. I feel them having 40 minutes on a smaller stage is playing dirty to them.
