I last saw Knuckle Puck in 2022 with Hot Mulligan, Meet Me @ The Altar and Anxious opening. That bill ruled.

I am once again here to complain about venues not being on tour posters.

That's one upside of venues being in weird suburbs. Like the State Champs tour poster says Silver Spring, MD, so you know it's going to be at the Fillmore (unlike Real Friends, which says DC, so it could be at one of like 5 venues)

I actually think the Maine strikes a good balance, they do Sad Summer Fest where they still tour with these bands a lot, but usually they take out very different bands on their headliner tours. (The bands they take aren't usually my thing, but they at least switch it up). Last headliner was flor and Daisy Grenade, and then Charlotte Sands and the Happy Fits on the one before that.

RF is 930 club which I'm a little surprised at. Figured it'd be black cat or union stage

Yesterday was an great day all round hangout with friends at the gig and had an chilled out good time!

Anyways it was my 2nd time at Gunnersbury Park and once again easy to get to on the tube from Victoria station and getting out of Gunnersbury Park after Korn's set was well organised and seemless to me, caught the tube back to Victoria station then walked to the coach station. It was 11pm by the time I got the coach station and I could chill out till I got my 11.30pm coach back home!

    The bands

Loathe - 2nd time seeing them live and they were great.. now release or announce news about the new album!!

Wargasm - 2nd time seeing them live but fuck me it felt like they were on for bloody ages and I ended up just sitting on the grass chatting and hanging out with friends.

Spiritbox - 2nd time seeing Spiritbox live and they were really good and Courtney is a god damn superstar onstage and crowd where was i at were really into them and they never heard of Spiritbox before so that's a good sign that they won new fans over.

KoRn - 3rd time seeing them live and they were fucking fantastic live, the band sounded tighter and heavier than ever live and Jonathan Davis sounds exactly the same if not better now than he did back in the day.. especially when he does his death metal growls live, fucking unreal!! I wish the set list was longer but I remembered JD has asthma and read somewhere that doctors said he can perform up to 1hr and 30mins and no longer than that.. but anyways after their set I agree with other people that they need to headline the main stage at download big time!!

The only negative is that Denzel Curry pulled out due to illnesses on the day of the gig which was gutted about because I was looking forward to seeing him live for the first time after been a fan of his music for a while
