What a discography though. It's silly for me to rank Sailor's Guide vs. S&F because they're awesome in such different ways and are perfect for two totally different moods.

 

I'm not a big bluegrass guy so Dood is in last, but still like that record a TON. Pretty happy to follow Stu wherever his inspiration takes him.

i'm not sure if sturgill and laur or isbell and sadler in the same band is more unfair lol

 

im sure

 

the difference between sturgill and jason on guitar is negligible. both are great at their own styles that are kind of different. laur v. sadler isn't close to me. just purely on guitar, since sadler adds a lot with vocals (though i'd argue miles adds just as much, just while playing drums).

 

I’ll refrain from commenting before watching the video but I’m not sure I agree with that at all lol

 

It’s well documented that I’m #IsbellPilled beyond all rationality tho

 

Besides we all know the best guitarist duo in any current band is Jim James/Carl Broemel (sorry sorry I tried to resist for 40 min)
