This is easily the strongest record they’ve put out since Enemy.. might even be their best period tbh. Picking this up from my record store today!

This is probably going to end up being my favorite record from these guys

I just finished a FYS discography run, and honestly, I learned that I don't really like this band haha.

This album is SUPER interesting though, it surprised me, lots of new things from them and a lot I enjoyed

My guess in that case, you'll probably feel similar to me, it's a pretty big creative swing for them

  7. RODT is a fun album and they put on a clinic with EOTW. ISWSOF is a clear miss even if the ideas are there. Self titled feels like the one that set them on track to become the band they are today but honestly I was pretty out on them/this sound by 2015. I was skeptical about Brain Pain at first but it won me over eventually

RODT was on heavy rotation in college for me, but then I didn’t really like anything they’d done until a handful of songs from Brain Pain. But love this new album, definitely their best.

Didn’t really like much in-between EOTW and Brain Pain, but man was Stuck In The Middle a banger

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

GDIH EP is their best release imo

Need more time with the record as a whole, but Maybe It’s Me is fucking brilliant.

I remember RODT coming out as well, ha. Still solid but it hasn’t aged the best. Definitely stuck in the 00s sound. I really enjoyed their covers album as well and pretty much all of EOTW, but everything after dropped off for me. Sounds like a need to give this album a spin.

After playing this new record all weekend - I think my current ranking is:

    Enemy > Analysis Paralysis > Brain Pain > Rise > S/T > ISWSOF

I think all their EPs are largely forgettable aside from a few tracks like Tread Lightly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  17. I’ve never really liked GDIH the song, but I like that EP a lot otherwise. At the time it came out I would’ve called it their best release too. Still not convinced I’ve ever seen a more accurate “return to form” album in this scene, it was like ISWSOF never even happened

I adored RODT at the time, but most of it very much feels like a relic of the past to me at this point lol

I think this is my favorite album by them. It’s somehow heavier, and poppier than usual at the same time, and it works very well.

  23. I agree RODT feels very of the time but as I get older I find that more of a feature than a bug. No one was doing it like them at that point, they really stood out - and when I need something that sounds like that now, there’s nothing else that hits the same. If it was problematic or something I would not feel that way

When I first heard that album I remember thinking these guys were like Sum 41 and NFG on Red Bull.

RODT would benefit from a EOTW style re-record. But yes those songs are very late 2000s scene sounding lol
