Bergvall has me so excited and I know I need to keep my expectations in check but man that kid has me so excited for this season

 

It feels unfair to say because they’re so young, but I don’t see how Bergvall and Gray aren’t starters by midway point of the season. They have been so much more impressive than any other midfielder.

I think you will score bagfuls this season...but you'll also keep conceding with an XI like that. Maddison is a creator who can be quite a luxury player when it comes to defending. Bergvall is still a rookie at the highest level. Those FBs aren't renowned for their defensive discipline either. Can Romero and VDV cope? Can Vicario be superhuman? lol

 

The numbers when that back four played together were pretty solid. The problem was we rarely had all four. Building depth on the backline is how we’ll prevent giving up so many goals. Dragusin should continue to grow as he gains more minutes. But outside of that, the depth isn’t very intriguing. Hopefully they’re able to add some help on the left side.

 

Don’t know much about this guy. But Feyenoord fans seem very upset about it. So sounds good to me. We finally have a #10.

 

Why do we let de Ligt leave if we don't get Tah (not that I think that Tah would be an upgrade to de Ligt)? This whole thing feels so similar to the Stanisic/Pavard issue from last year and the board seems to not have learnt anything from it.

Oh how I miss the days when we were a well run club. That Nagelsmann sacking will haunt us for years to come.

FM rules, the worse you do in pre season the better the season goes. Nothing worse than winning all your pre season games convincingly and losing the first 4 games of the season without scoring a goal.

Seen Raphinha and Rodrygo linked but that massively seems far fetched. Galeno, Doue, and Nusa could be great depth options if cheap.

 

Was impressed with Oscar Bobb yesterday, think he will some good minutes with the first team this year, partly due to Alvarez leaving and partly due to his performances. Saw someone online say his dribbling and movement reminds them of Nari and I would agree.
