I doubt de Ligt plays on Friday. But I think Mazraoui should be available and had a full pre season. He will probably slot in at left back.

 

State of our midfield still leaves me sick to my stomach but there’s only so much we can do in a window. Just imagining how fucked we are with a Mainoo injury makes me nauseous, not a great place to be so reliant on a teenager.

 

Thought Casemiro looked a bit better today than last season in fairness, though not a high bar to clear. McTominay showed his limitations though, hopefully Fulham come back with a better offer and allow us to do some rejigging. Still not 100% sure what Mount actually does.

It's a shame how it looks like Coleman's career is going to come to an end. Gone off with another injury after half hour today. Nothing serious, thankfully, but they do appear to be chronic now.

United were better for about 60 minutes of the game and deserved to win, but also there won't be a starting midfield of McAtee, Kovacic and O'Reilly in any meaningful games for City.

Chelsea game should be interesting for City next week with so many important players not seeing much/any preseason action.
