I’m only six episodes in but Whole Cake Island might end up being my favorite arc lmao I love this so much already

 

it's the best post-timeskip arc

 

Currently watching the crew fight Cesar the Clown. His laugh is ridiculous

 

”Raizo is safe” was my favorite twist in the series. I audibly gasped when I read it.

 

I finished the last few volumes of MHA and unsurprisingly loved it. It had so many perfect character moments and the art was incredible as always, I'm really going to miss it.

 

Anyone into Blood + ? love the mood and txture

 

I enjoyed season one. Nothing mind-blowing, but the Kaiju battles and animation are awesome.

 

I’m behind on most of my manga reading, but I think I’ve read what season 2 will probably cover and I loved it personally. But I also just love that series. Lol

 

With so many SJ series ending are ended now, I hope it gets more fans.

 

I hope so too, but I also don’t know how much longer it’s going to be. I mean in manga terms though, so maybe like 2 more years at most?

 

I feel like the manga is still only just starting. [Manga spoiler] We still know absolutely nothing about Kaiju No. 9, why Kafka became a Kaiju, why they exist in the first place, why they kidnapped the boss, etc. It feels like after this arc (which has been going for like 2yrs now?) they’re probably going to do a timeskip / lore dump, like that Kaiju No. 9 is just the antagonist of part 1
Overall it’s fine and yes I expect the animation to continue being great, but I think it’s way too by-the-book to come close to anything like JJK or Chainsaw Man or whatever

 

I don’t want to read that spoiler part, but I’m just glad I’m wrong then. It is very paint my numbers but it’s just a good time for me.

 

Oh yeah well the non-spoiler-y version is that we still have absolutely no answers for…anything lol. It’s been one long battle arc for like the past 18 months now. In part because the author seems to go on a decent amount of extended breaks for whatever reason

Yeah that makes more sense. Lol I guess I just didn’t really see what was coming after this battle arc.

 

It’s refreshing honestly that an author is actually taking extended breaks as opposed to working himself to death like so many others have. Bums me out reading about how much overwork has affected writers health, like it did Horikoshi.

I don’t know how Oda is still doing it to this day lol

 

This has now changed to 12 episodes of Dandadan and now includes 5 episodes of Arcane (League of Legends). Non-anime leaks are Spellbound (animated movie for Netflix), Plankton: The Movie, and Heartstopper season 3.

I saw some clips of the leaked Dandadan and Terminator episodes and they are in no way worth watching FYI. All below 480p and have production watermarks all over the screen. I’m just sharing this as a warning because people are already being dickheads and posting spoilers everywhere.

 

If that's actually what the animation looks like I'd be interested.

Just got to the first real twist of Whole Cake Island and man, it’s amazing how good this arc is. Definitely best post time skip arc already. Really may end up being my favorite if they stick the landing.
