Just watched last night and it rips. Falls apart a little in the 3rd act, but it's so fun it doesn't really matter.

Going to try and get to Cuckoo tomorrow. I've managed to not see any marketing outside of the poster so I'm going in blind and I love it.

 

Saw someone I follow give it a very bad review on Letterboxd which honestly just makes me even more curious

 

Same here actually. Romulus is just more of a theater experience, so I had to go with that one.

I managed to get my friends on board even though they’ve never seen a single one. Well until last night because that was the pick for movie night. It obviously didn’t miss and they’re excited to watch Aliens and Romulus now.

 

Going to Cuckoo tomorrow or Saturday hopefully, love Hunter and the trailer is dope; hope it lives up.

 

For whatever reason, divisive reactions usually get me more excited and it weirdly works more in favor for movies I wasn't exactly super hyped to see.

 

Yeah, really polarizing movies always get my attention, for better or for worse

 

Cuckoo was different than I was expecting. Pretty weird one. I liked it though!

Almost went tonight but realized my theater’s show times for tonight aren’t the same as tomorrows and it was too late to head out lol.

Yeah, Cuckoo was a fun time.

Dan Stevens deserves the Glen Powell treatment.

 

Went into Cuckoo without seeing any trailers and had a blast with it. Extremely weird and fun, Hunter and Dan were both great as expected too.

Hope we see even more from Tilman Singer now.

 

Watched Splinter. Decently fun creature feature

 

A little let down by Cuckoo. Thought the first half was pretty good. Kind of lost me in the third act, never came together for me. Love Dan Stevens and Hunter Schafer though, some points for style. Just felt like it had a difficult time explaining itself and that felt more like a bug rather than a feature.

 

I’ll add that the bike ride sequence in Cuckoo was one of my favorites of the year.

I havent seen the movie yet but if it's someone getting hit by a car for riding a bike in the middle of the lane, I approve.
