vice presidents are in an odd position where the person at the top makes all of the decisions yet they are also a very public face of that administration and those decisions, and she's been Biden's veep for 4 years now

this would be the time for any potential voters to pressure her

I would say it is also the time for her to show people what distinguishes her from Biden, although I feel like that is gonna get lost in the noise of her distinguishing herself from trump

 

They’re definitely not going to commit to anything pre-election publicly. If your pressure ends up helping to prevent the people you think can be convinced by your pressure to lose to the group you’re openly acknowledging will not listen to that pressure at all, then what good is the pressure?
The leaders of uncommitted coming out and saying she agreed to discuss arms embargo and her people immediately saying no she didn’t reeks of a “you say what you need to say publicly about this discussion and my people will do the same” to me.

11. Progressive Left

The idea that the left being vocal and re-affirming that politicians need to earn their vote (and everyone’s vote) loses elections requires one to believe that non-left Democrats will only vote if the the vibes are posi and that this decision made by the non-left voters is actually the responsibility of the left (and not politicians running or the non-left voters themselves).

I think the GOP is fucked after Trump. They’ve spent the last decade centering their entire party around one guy and worshipping him. Don’t think their follow up will have the same “juice” to his supporters.
