Absolutely insane that Chapo online drama discourse from like 5 years ago is now being mentioned by a VP candidate in 2024. Remember it was Will Menaker who first said "bend the knee" in this context.

 

This just further drives the point that these people genuinely don’t know what to do or what they’re going to do. Like when your guy is fucking JD Vance, does any of that really cancel out his utterly creepy and weird behavior? No, so anyone in that camp vigorously rubbing their hands together about this like it’s a good thing for them is completely out of touch with reality.

 

Giving lunch to school children is seen universally as a vile, far leftist, disgusting thing, you know.

They should have to work for that, or something.

 

She's either surprisingly good at strategically gathering as many voters as she can, or someone on her team is. Impressive.

 

Imo, the big thing against Walz right now is the public’s lack of knowledge about him but once more people see him as a genuine, earnest person, the GOP is gonna have a much harder time making those attacks stick.

 

For years, one of the fairest criticisms of the Democratic party, especially at the top, has been that they look like a bunch of elitist pricks who are completely out of touch with the average American. Walz is basically the antithesis of that.

 

I imagine with all the air being sucked out of the room between those two talking, they could achieve a perfect vacuum.
