Gouge Away put out my favorite record this year

But the best band I've ever seen live was Carly Rae Jepson. What a show, her band is incredible live.

I don't have a better answer to that question rn.

 

I’ve really liked Japanese Breakfast the past several years too. Such a good sound imo. Sound like two all-time indie rock greats (Wilco & Yo La Tengo [YLT is my go-to pick for best ever American rock band]).

 

CRJ is SO good live. My god.

I'd probably flip The King of Limbs and Pool but it's been ages since I've listened to TKOL.

 

I don’t think anyone here knows this but I used to be a general manager at chipotle.

Also.

On the Bon Iver note, my least favorite album of his/theirs is easy Bon Iver, Bon Iver. Have always found it boring outside of the closer. Favorite is honestly probably For Emma, Forever Ago, but I also remember digging 22, A Million and a couple tracks off of i,i.

On the Radiohead note, I was in the camp that was disappointed with The King of Limbs when it dropped, but it has nonetheless settled into their top tier for me. Might be the one after In Rainbows I care most about?

Truthfully almost never think to listen to either of 'em these days, though, idk.

No but actually the last few weeks I've been not listening to music much. I go through these phases every now and then. This time of year especially because my head starts spinning with getting ready for the school year, AND its election season so I'm reading a lot about that, AND it's fantasy football season so I'm reading a lot about that. and I can't do "music in the backround while I read" like some people can lol

But before I got into this funk, my favorite band at the moment is Creeper, but all time favorites still tend to be Alkaline Trio, TBS, Killers, Jack's Mannequin, Dashboard, etc.

 

I’m in a band and i have to fight myself so hard to not just rip Joe Casey off (badly).
