Seeing FYS with a barricade is 100x less fun

I'm just playing off that previous post with the tweet haha I'm gonna assume the RODT tour will be small venues and will be fucking great but I know nothing

Lmao. I think it fits considering that was their first full length release and they would want to go back to headlining some small clubs.

The following bands (that I think are gonna tour at that time) have yet to announce their winter/spring 2017 plans (doing this because why not?):

Four Year Strong (currently touring U.S.)
    Senses Fail
    Motionless In White
    Counterparts
    Knocked Loose
    Pierce The Veil
    Cane Hill
Upon a Burning Body (currently touring U.S.)
    The Amity Affliction
    Memphis May Fire
    The Devil Wears Prada
    Architects
After The Burial (currently touring U.S.)
    Miss May I
The Color Morale (currently touring the U.S.)
    Northlane (hopefully)
    A Day To Remember
    Issues
Crown The Empire (currently touring the U.S.)
    and lots more

I'm not that into Miss May I, but aren't they like 3 years overdue for a headline tour? I know they fell off a bit due to rise of the lion, but didn't deathless sell really well?

Is that BMTH/UO tour really that short?

    but does it djent?

Hopefully I can make it then. I've been meaning to catch them. My bets are on The Emerson.

I haven't been to The Emerson in about a decade, is that place still a dump?

    but does it djent?

Well considering I wasn't there when you were I can't compare but my answer would be kinda sorta? It's still around what seems like a sketchy part of town but the staff has always been super friendly and nice. The prices were nice (used to have $1 bottled water, now $2) and they have good shows. I enjoyed the fact that there wasn't any alcohol allowed at the venue but it recently changed to where they serve beer now.

Back when I was there they did not have any AC, the area was super sketchy, and staff was less than stellar. At least it sounds like the staff is better. The bottled water price isn't too shabby either (considering I just spent $5 on water at The Rave in Milwaukee a few weeks ago).

Guess I will see if FYS plays there. If so, I will have to give them another chance.

    but does it djent?

From what I recall they do have AC or at least some form of cooling because I've never been overtly hot there. The neighborhood is still kinda sketchy but I usually arrive after doors open and park by a lightpost at the Kroger nearby. If I could say the best thing about the place it would be the staff.

I first went there in 2010 and it's certainly a lot better now than it used to be. They updated their sound system a few years back when it went under new ownership. The guy who used to own Mojoes in Joliet, IL owns it now.

That's interesting. Mojoe's closed down about a year ago because he was sick of dealing with the cops. Glad he's still active in the scene.

They got pretty effed over from management right before Deathless came out from what I remember, and so Rise didn't push the album as hard. They had some good tours in the past year though, with WCAR, MMF, For Today and BTF. They just signed to SharpTone, so my guess is they're recording right now, and I think Warped would be a great springboard back into the world with a new album.

Sharptone really seems like they'll have a big presence on warped this coming year, as I think Attila and WCAR will play, and wouldn't be surprised if badxchannels and emmure played either.

Have they ever played this album in its entirety ? Someone on Facebook said they played it in 2007 with Armor For Sleep (and Valencia).

Seeing Attila next week btw. If I hang with anyone from the supporting bands, I may ask about their respective 2017 touring if anyone wants me to.

Incoming FYS tour post: I wonder who else will support FYS on the ROTD tour other than the rumored Knocked Loose, and if KL are supporting, this tour may start in February, since KL will be in Australia at the beginning of the year.
