It would have to be Armor Wars, Shang-Chi, or rumored Doctor Strange. I’m pretty sure Spider-Man would only be on Sony’s release schedule. Probably wrong though

 

Difficult to say. I really want my Shang-Chi sequel and Simu Liu has said it’s coming, but the CPC hates Liu for what he said about his grandparent’s upbringing in China. If Marvel is going back to needing that sweet rmb then I could see them not wanting to do a solo out of fear that it won’t screen in China.

Armor Wars has basically been a shadow since 2021, so fear of a War Machine-led film not gathering interest could lead Marvel to move on.

Spider-Man is for sure being made, but with it being a Sony release, I’m not sure if it’s part of Iger’s “2 or 3 films” a year strategy.

There’s also the possibility that both Shang-Chi 2 and Armor Wars are being planned, but one will be pushed to 2027.

 

I was going to say, a random release date going away doesn't mean an entire film is cut. Slow your roll, rumor mill.

What I want to know is if the films after Secret Wars are still part of Phase 6 or not.

 

My guess is one of the movies after Secret Wars is X-Men. They already said it was coming after SW and it’s not like SW has to be the movie that closes out the Multiverse Saga.

 

Feel like the TBA one before Doomsday has to be Shang-Chi 2.

Is that the next Unbreakable sequel?

 

Shang-Chi 2 being released during CNY 2026 makes sense. It’s rumored to begin filming in March 2025, so I guess(?) that is enough time.

If the ‘Wreckage of Time’ subtitle was really planned then Marvel probably had to change the story a bit after Kang went out the window.

Doctor Strange 3 and Shang-Chi both probably had to be reworked. Armor Wars feels like it could be more standalone.

 

So that really doesn't say anything new, does it.
