Possession tonight at the local bar movie club!

 

Should I prioritize seeing Event Horizon?

 

I don’t care much for that one, but I think I’m the outlier in the thread with that opinion. Sam Neill gets pretty wild in it though and that’s kinda fun

 

You should definitely try it out!

 

It’s very flawed and one character is out of place but I’m a sucker for it nonetheless

 

I did not like it when it came out but rewatched it recently and loved it. It's a ton of fun, and like most movies, better if you don't take it too seriously.

 

Watched A Quiet Place: Day One tonight at my friends’ house and the three of us were not fans. So that was kind of a bummer movie night.

But I recently got a copy of that Extreme Dodgeball show that was on game show network in like 2004, so we watched a couple episodes before I headed out. That show is insane. Lol

 

Tarot is on Netflix let’s do this lol

 

Yeah, Tarot is not a good movie by any means. Predictable as hell, dumb decision after dumb decision, all the cheap jump scares you can think of. The monsters are cool, but you barely see most of them, especially the best one (the hermit). Still not the worst horror movie of the year though lol

 

It's very good and basically Hellraiser in space (but better than the actual Hellraiser in space movie) if that helps you make your decision

Just now learning that Abigail is directed by same people who did Ready or Not AND Dan Stevens stars in it? It’s now at the top of my watchlist hah.

'28 Years Later' reportedly shooting sequel 'The Bone Temple' later this year

a new trilogy with Nia DaCosta directing?? ok damn

 

Hopefully it's better than her Candyman.

 

I think I'm one of those weirdos that would prefer one really good legacy sequel to a new trilogy. I also like her Candyman, but something always feels missing from it. I'm big on the original, though.

 

I really liked her Candyman, and The Marvels, even if it was just her getting that bag it was still more enjoyable than a lot of the recent superhero flicks we've been getting
