On the AXS page it says "tickets are non-transferable and wristbands will be placed on all ticket holders at will call. Tickets can only be picked up at will call the night of the show by the original purchaser with a valid ID."

 

Nice. Missed that, but wasn't going to pay $125 anyway. But I'm sure it'll be awesome for all those that were willing to spend it.

 

What's the capacity of the venue? $125 basically sounds at market.

Like 600. Pretty tiny spot so I figured it'd be a cheaper / no scalpers deal like Slipknot did recently with their $20 / $25 show. I get the inverse with the price being high for such an intimate experience but was hoping for the other route of a cheap 'for the fans' type deal.

EDIT - Either way sold out so 600 happy fans will get a great one of a kind intimate show.

I still can’t believe AFI gave up a Sing The Sorrow anniversary run to do that tour. I bet they’re kicking themselves

 

I really hope the whole tour isn’t canceled because I wanna see all the openers and AFI are one of my favorite bands I’ve somehow never seen

Members of AFI have ben vocal about hating the idea of doing anniversary tours.

 

Plus I’m sure AFI got a pretty decent guarantee from doing that tour even if it isn’t drawing well. If anyone is losing money it’s 30STM and Live Nation lol

 

Some scattered dates on 30STM tour cancelled but it DID kick off last night. For those wondering, AFI had a 15 song set:

AFI Setlist at White River Amphitheatre, Auburn

 

15 songs is more than I was expecting, I’m happy

 

15 song AFI set, 8 song Poppy set, and even 30STM front loaded their set with This Is War songs.

strongly considering going to this and bailing 20 minutes into their set.

 

I saw 30STM back in January for a radio fest and was surprised at just how over the top ridiculous Jared is. Between the random fireworks, the giant silver cape he wore as he walked around the entire arena floor, and him telling everyone how sick he was after he got on stage (describing what sounded exactly like COVID symptoms), it was a wild time.

I’d probably go again for cheap.

 

Im surprised they are only playing 2 songs from their new album.

I do wonder if they ever do a nostalgia tour playing A Beautiful Lie or This Is War in fill, how well will it sell.
