Yeah if you want to get acquainted with the greatest character actors of the 1990's do a double feature of Twister and Independence Day.

 

Since we essentially follow Kate’s POV, they seem pretty zany in a weird way. But as Kate gets to know them, we get to really see those characters and most of them come across much better.

 

Dodge made a fantastic choice in sponsoring this.
Also appreciated how they made it seem like they flipped the script from the first and had the tech backed group be the "good guys" and the rogue crew the "bad guys" but then were like, nope just kidding

 

Hell yeah.

 

Absolutely now want the adventures of a tornado that solves mysteries. The hook is that he keeps accidentally destroying evidence.

 

This was even better than I was hoping

 

I knew she was on the wrong side based on Clark Kent's behavior from the start. Surprised we didn't see him die although maybe too hokey. He was basically the Cary Elwes of the group.

 

Man Universal Studios closing their Twister attraction and turning it into a Jimmy Fallon ride is looking dumb as hell in retrospect now.

 

Anything Fallon is a dumb decision

 

Fine movie, wouldn't recommend unless there's nothing else, but entertaining enough.

 

Yeah this was decent but maybe not as good as I was hoping. Insanely grating needle drops

 

Bummer that Oklahoma representation in film in the last year is Native American genocide and natural disasters

 

What should it be

 

You guys have been really gotten the short end with media representation this decade

 

This was fun and exciting. Thought it fizzled out some/was kind of awkward from when she went to her mom’s house until they met back up with the group. Also, I see there’s “discourse” around it, but it’s so absurd they don’t kiss.

 

Also, I just can’t get into Anthony Ramos.

 

I thought it was alright. Went in expecting a little more, but was still a good summer popcorn flick.

 

So glad there weren't any dumb kisses
