yeah team AEW makes zero sense for this. The Acclaimed are laughable as team AEW. It needs people like Mox/Eddie/Claudio/Orange.

I don’t know what Mox is doing, Eddie is obviously hurt, Claudio has done Anarchy in the arena this year, and Orange is just kinda there.

It would have made so much more sense to make this a women’s event if everyone was healthy.

Team AEW would have been Britt, Hayter, Willow, Toni, and someone like Nyla or Shida, while Team Elite would have been Mercedes, Mariah May, Saraya, Harley and Statlander.

the whole blood and guts thing just feels phoned in. All I really want is more Hangman/Swerve, and it seems like B&G is just a vehicle to get there later on.

AEW fell into a WWE trap having a specific date per year where Blood and Guts always happens. Just like WWE started doing with Hell In A Cell or War Games. It's so much more effective when these matches happen when a sufficient blood feud has been built organically. If nothing is being built properly don't book the match.
